Brauncewell Quarries produces two types of recycled sand: finer Fill Sand and Course Sand. Where applicable, these products can be used as an alternative to primary produced sands.Our Recycled Fill and Coarse Sands meet the criteria for ‘BS EN 13242, Fine and All-in Aggregated for Pipe Bedding, Haunching and Surrounding Material’ set out in Series 503 of the ‘Manual of Contracts Document for Highways Work’.
